Rías Baixas Albariño

Albariño from Rías Baixas is not only Spain’s most celebrated white wine, it consistently ranks among the top wines in the world. I worked with Gregory+Vine, which has been the agency of record for Rías Baixas, responsible for a fully-integrated branding and communications campaign. Since 2015, Albariño exports have increased 12%, with the U.S. accounting for almost half the growth.

Rías Baixas’s visual identity draws inspiration from the lush hillsides located along the southwestern coast of Spain, which is often referred to as Green Spain. My main role was to evolve the brand by creating a visual look and feel that used bold photography from the region, along with my hand-drawn illustrations. I created printed materials for wine tasting events, tours and festivals; which include the Pocket Map, Postcards and Booklet below. I also lead social media campaigns, and managed all things design-related.
